Having a good gear bag to carry your dirt bike, snowmobile, or really any gear you want to carry is important to have a bag that is well built and allows you to pack what you need.

Klim is well known for building high-quality gear and the Kodiak bag is no exception!

Having a well-thought-out gear bag for dirt biking really helps you stay organized and still carry all the gear you need. You could use a duffel bag but I would rather spend my time riding than trying to sort through the mess in a duffel bag.

It has many built-in storage compartments and pockets to keep your dirt bike gear organizes. With an independent boot compartment that is removable. You also have a padded helmet section and a place to store your goggles. Different bays and small stashes to keep your keys, wallet, or phone.  I also use the smaller sections to keep extra socks and even store dirty riding gear.

I do wish that the lid pockets were a bit deeper to keep more jerseys and riding pants.

For those that need wheels, you have high-quality rolling wheels and also a bash skid plate for those long trips.

Klim Kodiak Gear Bag Review

Here are my thoughts on the Klim Kodiak dirt bike gear bag. I like it and it seems to be well built and well thought out. TONS of handles make it really nice to haul around. I recently took the bag on a snowboarding trip to Alaska and to be honest I really liked it. I like it better than the MSR and the OGIO gear bag that I have had for YEARS.

It has PLENTY of room to carry all my dirt bike gear and also I really like the boot bag and used it as a dirty laundry bag.

It’s a great gear bag for dirt biking and snowmobiling. I do wish that the boot area had better venting for when my boots get wet and also stinky. So far that’s my only complaint.

  • Well built, premium quality
  • Very Practical
  • It’s holding up great after lots of wear and worth the investment.
  • Its big and u can use as luggage bag when you travel 🙂
  • Great Gear Bag overall for Dirt Biking, Motocross, Motorcycle, Snowboarding, Snowmobiling and Travel

So far I give it a Dirt Bike Sam thumbs up!! I hope that sharing my experience in this Klim Kodiak gear bag review helped you.
